Each report type is trained once as a template: you show Qrima where in the document each value sits. After that the software recognizes that type automatically — even when the layout differs slightly or the sender changes, because it does not rely on a single rigid layout. Relevant fields such as measurements, units, reference ranges and patient data are reliably identified and prepared for transfer. A trained report is ready in structured form within seconds, with no manual retyping.
Qrima puts the extracted values on the clipboard at the click of a button. From there you paste them wherever they belong in your practice management system — just like any text you have copied. Qrima does not interfere with your system and changes nothing about your existing installation. That has two advantages: it works regardless of which PMS you use, and you stay in control of which value ends up where.
Patient data is especially sensitive. Qrima therefore processes it exclusively on your local machine — there is no transfer to cloud services or external servers. Sensitive data is additionally protected with our "Krypto V2" encryption (AES-256-GCM with Argon2id key wrapping). Because no data leaves your practice, medical confidentiality is fully preserved and the organizational overhead stays low.
Qrima is designed for digital PDF reports with a recurring structure: lab reports, therapy and progress reports, pathology reports and scientific study reports. What matters is not the medical field but that the report is a digital PDF, follows a fixed pattern and has been trained once as a template. Scanned documents, plain image files and free-form prose without a fixed structure are not suitable. Both single documents and large stacks can be processed — the batch function handles hundreds of reports in a single run, for example when many lab results arrive over the weekend.
The one-time setup includes installation, configuration and a personal onboarding at your practice. Qrima runs on Windows and macOS, and all updates are included in every plan. For questions you can reach a German-speaking team — by email, with priority, or by phone, depending on your plan. The effort on your side stays minimal from day one.

Laulima-Solution was founded by three people from Dortmund who share one observation: in medical practices, hours of working time are lost every day to manually transferring PDF reports into practice systems.
